donateNYC, and their nonprofit Partners will be at JCC Manhattan to promote NYC’s thriving nonprofit, reuse sector. They will be offering a variety of activities including a kid's clothing swap by GrowNYC's Stop 'N' Swap, arts and crafts, thrift shopping, an E-waste collection drive, and much more.
The donateNYC Partnership, which is a member-based network of local nonprofits that collect and redistribute second-hand and surplus goods within New York City, organized this event to help promote the benefits of supporting your local reuse organizations.

Sewing, Fashion Design, Jewelry Making, Ring Carving and Casting, Weaving, Tie-Dye, Fabric Painting and more: There’s a first time for everything! August 7th was the first time for many of our participants at Family Project, Food First Inc. to learn and explore such skills.
Whether it be a nursing pillow for a newborn, a lavender stuffed keychain, or a check received from sold handmade goods, here there and EVERYwhere strives to empower survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault and human trafficking, accompanying them in their journey of exploration and learning.
Through a carefully designed 12-week program, we provide art therapy and vocational training workshops to encourage self expression and creativity for both survivors and their children.

Come join us for htE's Gallery Showcase & Reception, celebrating the accomplishments of all our participants. The creative works will be displayed, with many items also featured for sale. All net profits from sales will go directly to the survivor who designed the item.

In addition, we will be screening our first co-produced short film on domestic violence, inspired by the story of one of our first participants.
